ABOUT THE EVENT
The Good Luck Campout started out as a big celebration for the 20th anniversary of The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit. We received so much positive feedback, we decided to do it again. Who knows how many we might do? Once again, we are inviting some of our favorite bands from over the years, some new musician friends, and all our families, friends, and fans to join us for a couple days in the woods. Expect The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit to take the stage for a showcase of all the favorites. We’ll be doing a short welcome spot Friday morning and a full-length concert Saturday night. Expect more music Friday and Saturday, a full concert Thursday evening for 4-day pass holders, and one last Sunday Morning Send-off concert to say goodbye and send folks safely off back to the lowlands.
ABOUT THE GROUNDS
The Campout campground features multiple camping areas. With the exception of the reserved RV Hookup spots, and the “Area A” grid camping area, the camping areas are non-designated open camping areas. If you can fit your car and tent, then that constitutes a spot.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR, Area B ticket holders: Area B has been equipped with permanent fire pits by Three Links Camp, but…., unfortunately, open fires are still not allowed during the event. Also, the permenent fire pits do not designate parking spots. It’s still a fit-in where you fit-in camping area. Fire pits will be covered, and if you happen to be by one, you are free to use them as extra table space.
With the exception of the reserved RV Hookups, camp spots in each Area are first come, first served, depending on your designated ticket Area (A, B, C, or D). If you happen to find yourself by an unused hookup, you are free to share it with your neighbors. Note, several hookups in AREA A will be secured for vendors and the stage. If you see a plug already coming out of one, please leave it plugged in!
NEW FOR THIS YEAR BATHROOMS: Due to unfortunate situations with the restrooms last year, and the impact it had on the septic system and the entire waterworks, Three Links has restricted access to the plumbed restrooms this year. If you are in a bunkhouse, you will still be able to use the restroom within. There should be access to the ones in the dining room. And the ones in the Shower room will be available during shower hours. Beyond those limited access restrooms, we’re increasing our supply of good old-fashioned porta potties. There will be more porta-potties at the main stage, a couple up by the dining hall, and a couple next to the closed restrooms in Area D.
ALSO NEW: We also have limited access to showers. Showers will only be open from 6:00-10:00 am this year. Please plan accordingly.
FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER: The plumbed restrooms are low pressure, septic system facilities. You can NOT put disposable wipes of any kind (EVEN IF THEY SAY “FLUSHABLE”) into the toilets. Neither may they accept feminine hygiene products or non-septic-safe toilet paper, paper towels, matches, vape-pens, rocks, socks, or woodblocks.
-The camp includes a pool which will be staffed by a lifeguard during set pool hours proabably 12:00 to 4:00.
-There will be a medical outpost with trained medical crew on site for minor issues that may arise with someone there or on-call 24/7
The camp is home to a disc golf course should you be in the mood for some sport. Access will be free to campers, and closed to general public during The Campout. Some holes will not be accessible due to a few areas being used for additional camping, but there are plenty of holes to still play. Map can be obtained at the main office.
There are Mountain bike trails across the highway down Lyons Reservoir road, and there are various fire roads to take walks on. There are also some short trails/access roads on the back side of the campgrounds that you are free to explore.
ABOUT ENTRY
Thursday Entry Gate opens at 2:00 p.m. Campers will not be allowed entrance until then. If you arrive early, you will be corralled in the overflow lot until the check-in tent is ready for you. CARS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LINE UP ON THREE LINKS ROAD PRIOR TO 2:00 pm. You will be turned around and need to hang out in the holding area/upper overflow parking area.
Friday Gate opens at 8:00 a.m. As with Thursday, Campers will not be allowed entrance until then. If you arrive early, please corral in the overflow lot until the check-in tent is ready for you. CARS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LINE UP ON THREE LINKS ROAD. You will be asked to turn around and hang out in the holding area/upper overflow parking area.
Saturday gate opens at 8:00 a.m. (Wash, rinse, repeat….. Same rules apply as above)
Evening Gate Closure. Please try to arrive prior to sundown whichever day you are arriving. Official 3 Links Campround policy is the campground gate closes at 6:00 pm. If you arrive after that, you may need to wait for our security team to assist you with entry.
ABOUT ON-SITE VEGICLE PARKING
Most Important Reminder for drivers: To park your vehicle down in the actual campground you MUST have purchased an “on-site vehicle reservation ticket” (the DONKEY TICKET), which lists the designated area you purchased. NO DONKEY = NO ON-SITE PARKING. If you only purchased an adult camping pass (the “Monkey” ticket) to camp with someone that has a vehicle spot, and you are arriving in a separate vehicle, you will park in the overflow lot, transfer your gear to the shuttle and take the shuttle into campground. Pleading with all campers to car-pool if at all possible. You will not be able to drive into campground to drop gear off and then re-park. Please plan accordingly. If you are just a day-pass holder, you will also park in overflow where you will wait for the shuttle, or you can brave the 0.7 mile trek (all down hill) on foot!
Area A is for parking in the 10x20 foot spots. Campground emergency regulations require cars to BACK IN to spots to comply with emergency protocols. There are some spots that are a little longer but they are first come first served. There are some spots in Area A that are adjacent to 30 amp RV outlets. Campers are welcome to tap in if you have the adapter but we ask that you please share with any neighbors who might need to charge a device or something.
Area B is for single vehicles, no trailers. Campground rules require cars to BACK IN to spots to comply with emergency protocols. Car-camping, tent camping, cab-overs, and camper vans are A-OK. Multiple tents plus a car will fit in the spots in this area.
Area C is for parking on site adjacent to the Walk-in area. Campground rules require cars to BACK IN to spots to comply with emergency protocols. Also please park as tightly but safely as possible in the designated area to save space. Area C is cleared tent areas but otherwise undeveloped. Plan accordingly with chairs, folding tables, whatever you want that you can carry from your car.
Area D is a combination of a few reserved RV spots and the rest is intended to be open car/tent camping. Campground rules require cars to BACK IN to spots to comply with emergency protocols. Class C RV’s and very short trailers are ok. There are some dry-camping spots and some hookups in this area, but except for the 5 reserved spots, it is all first come, first served. Please only take up as much room as you need. If you happen to park next to one of the 30 amp RV outlets, you are welcome to use it if you have an adapter, we just ask that you share with any neighbors who also might need to utilize power.
ABOUT THE LOCATION
DIRECTIONS: Take Highway 108 east to Mi-Wuk Village, About 1.9 miles past Mi-Wuk Market look for CAMPOUT signage for the turnoff on the RIGHT for Three Links Road (just opposite side of the highway the turnoff for Lyons Reservoir)

Upon arrival, please follow signs and follow instructions from entrance gate staff. On-site vehicle pass holders will be directed into campground. All others will park in overflow immediately off the highway at top of Three Links Road, and wait for the shuttle.
Please help us by having your confirmation email either printed out or on your phone to present to entry gate staff so they can direct you to the correct location. If you did not get one, it’s possible you did not supply us with a valid email when you signed up, or it went to your spam folder. If you arrive without email notification, all is not lost! We can still get you checked in. It will just take a bit longer. So, please be patient while we get you sorted out.
ABOUT FOOD
Campers are allowed to bring in their own food/beverages and there will also be some food options on site.
Mountain Sage Coffee will be satisfying all your caffeine needs and have breakfast, lunch and other food items as well.
Bauer’s Food Truck will be set up for all your vegan/vegetarian needs and other savory delights.
The Oddfellows will be serving pancakes for breakfast starting early with an OPEN MIC this year for some music to go with your morning, and then they’ll have hot dogs and and corn dogs in the afternoon down my the main stage.
Dying Breed Brewing will be providing a variety of their ice cold craft beers.
And new this year, there will be an ice cream cart!
Please note! Odd fellows items are CASH ONLY. The closest ATM is back in Mi-Wuk village, so come prepared! The other vendors will have cashless payment options (Venmo, Credit card) depending on internet connectivity, but bring cash as back up!
A filtered water station will be available on site; please bring your refillable water bottles!
ABOUT CAMP STOVES
New Site Regulation regarding cooking at your campsite: To use a propane burner at Three Links Camp, you need a California Campfire Permit, which is free and can be obtained from the US Forest Service (.gov), BLM, or CAL FIRE offices, or online at PreventWildfireCA.org. You must have this permit on your person, even for a propane stove. Please have this on your person if you are planning to cook. Wood fires (even in pits) are NOT allowed at all on site for the duration of the CAMPOUT event. Please understand the potential fire risk during this fire season.
OTHER IMPORTANT FESTIVAL NOTES
The Good Luck Campout is in the mountains, and where there are mountains, there are slopes! There are two venues on site; the main stage (Tioga) is at the bottom of the hill, and the second stage (Cow Track) is at the top of the hill. To alleviate so much huffing and puffing, Cow Track music will be in the a.m. only and the rest of the day will all be at the main Tioga stage. Food vendors (except for breakfast in the dining hall) will also be at the main stage this year.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR: Amplified music (pre-recorded or live) is not permitted after 10:00 pm in the camping areas.
There will be on-call shuttle service for persons with limited mobility. Procedure will be to wait at Main stage gate and ask staff stationed there to radio for conveyance.

Elevation lines are not printed on the map. The Tioga Stage is the lowest part of the camp. The Cow Track Stage is the highest part of the camp.
Also, in the mountains there are critters! Racoons will get into any food that is not secured. Please keep food put away! Brinking locking coolers or portable food lockers/bear boxes is always a good idea.
The Tioga Stage features a partially wood chipped general admission area in front of the stage, please plan accordingly with tarps, blankets, and low back chairs.
The Cow Track Stage features general admission backless bench seating in front of stage with standing room/chair room behind that is just a gravel bed. Please plan accordingly with lawn chairs, stadium seats, blankets, tarps, padding, etc.
The exhibition Wiffle Ball game will take place in front of the Tioga stage on Saturday at 1:30 PM. Campers will NOT be able to claim spots in front of the Tioga stage until after the Wiffle Ball game concludes.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
We think you will know many of the people camping with us. Most of these friendships go back 20 years and even more in most cases. Kindness, cooperation, and consideration for others is the foundation of the Campout community. When we work together, we can minimize risk and protect each other. Everyone is responsible for the well-being of our kids; don’t let them wander, alert staff if you find a youngin’ without a parent, please do not leave alcohol out in the open. Practice water conservation in the showers. Recycle your recyclables. Please leave your campsites as clean as how you found them!

Policies
NO Amplified Music in the camping areas after 10:00 pm until morning. Acoustic jamming is OK and encouraged, but please be mindful of folks trying to get some restorative sleed for the following full day of music!
NO firearms or weapons
NO fires, open flames, or charcoal cooking
Propane stoves must be accompanied by permit (details above)
NO pets - only bona fide service animals are permitted at Three Links Camp
NO sales or solicitation without written permission from The Good Luck Campout, LLC
NO drones
NO ATVs, Dirt bikes, etc.
NO Bicycles allowed in the music areas or food court.
NO dumping greywater on grounds
Speed Limit throughout camp is 5 MPH
Keep all marked roads clear and observe festival boundaries.
Quiet generators are permitted to run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily
Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas
The Good Luck Campout, LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
The Good Luck Campout, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
